Ann Porretto-Loehrke, PT, DPT, CHT, COMT, CMTPT

Bio

Ann Porretto-Loehrke is the clinical development coordinator at Hand and Shoulder Center of Wisconsin. She graduated from Marquette University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and then obtained a Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from Drexel University in 2007 with a specialty in hand and upper quarter rehabilitation. Ann is a Certified Hand Therapist and Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) who specializes in upper extremity disorders that include the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. She has been published in the Journal of Hand Therapy and enjoys teaching continuing education courses to hand therapists around the country. In addition, Ann co-authored a chapter in Rehabilitation of the Hand and Upper Extremity on nerve compression syndromes. Ann enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter doing outdoor activities.

Anthony Condie, OTR

Bio

Anthony Condie is a registered Occupational Therapist, having graduated with a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in 2019, from St. Ambrose University (Davenport, Iowa). Prior to joining our clinic, he worked with a mix between orthopedic and neurological diagnoses and became certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT BIG) for Parkinson’s disease. Anthony is currently pursuing specialty certifications to become a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT). He enjoys working with a variety of upper extremity diagnoses for the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow, and shoulder. Anthony values forming a great rapport with his patients in order to collaborate with his patients to promote the best outcomes for that individual. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, running, kayaking, hiking, and biking. He also enjoys playing tennis and pickleball recreationally.

Ashley Pulvermacher, OTR, ATC

Bio

Ashley is a 2019 graduate of Concordia University Wisconsin with a Masters in Occupational Therapy and a 2013 graduate of the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with a Masters in Sports Medicine. She is a Wisconsin native with previous outpatient care experience, as well as extended experience working with athletes ranging from novice to professional. Ashley is currently pursuing specialty certifications to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).  Her areas of special interest include upper extremity orthopedic injuries, manual therapy techniques, shoulder dysfunction, and rehabilitation for return to sport.  In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her friend, family, and chocolate lab.  She also enjoys hiking, kayaking, paddle boarding and traveling.

Cassandra Schuh, OTR, CHT, COMT

Bio

Cassandra (Cassie) Schuh is a 2010 graduate from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. Cassie holds certifications in Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE), Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT – Big Version), and a Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) from the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (IAOM). Cassie received her Hand Therapy Certification in 2016. She is a Wisconsin native and comes to us with a vast array of experience. Her special interests include the treatment of upper extremity orthopedic injuries and diseases, fibromyalgia, functional capacity evaluations, and hands-on manual therapy treatment. She joins a large team of subspecialty therapists exclusively treating all fingers, hands, wrist, forearm, elbow, and shoulder injuries and conditions.

Connie Simon, OTR, CHT, CMTPT

Bio

Connie Simon is a 1985 graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. She has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 1991 and has been working with patients at Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin since 1991 as well. Her professional interests include addressing shoulder, elbow, and hand problems in a holistic manner by looking at the patient from multiple systems. She has extensive training in myofascial release and focuses on empowering the patient in their treatment program. Connie enjoys spending time with her husband and family, their pets, and friends. She also enjoys gardening, home decorating, health and wellness, and good music.

Donna Nennig, OTR, CHT

Bio

Donna Nennig is a 1989 graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. She received her Hand Therapy Certification in 2008. Donna has worked for the Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin  since 1993. She performed her clinical programs in Boston Massachusetts in psych disabilities and her physical disabilities clinical at St Joseph’s hospital in Arizona. Areas of clinical interest at our orthopedic rehabilitation  facility include custom splinting, trauma, and postoperative care.

Hailey Hendrix, OTR

Bio

Hailey Hendrix graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Psychology. She received her Master of Occupational Therapy in 2023 from Concordia University Wisconsin. Hailey performed her clinical rotations in Green Bay, WI in an outpatient orthopedic setting as well as in the Appleton Area School District. Areas of clinical interest include certified hand therapy and sports rehabilitation. Hobbies include staying active, traveling, and watching & playing sports.

Heidi Kolonko, OTR, ACSM EP-C

Bio

Heidi Kolonko is an Occupational Therapist at Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science and then obtained a Master of Occupational Therapy Degree from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, California. Heidi is also certified as an Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. Heidi’s interests outside of work include sports, hunting and fishing. Heidi enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, weightlifting, and trying out new restaurants.

Holly Renard, OTR, CHT

Bio

Holly Renard is a 1992 graduate from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. Previously, Holly enjoyed participating as a co-author to the Fourth Edition of The Indiana Hand Center’s Diagnosis & Treatment Manual for Physicians and Therapists. Holly obtained her Hand Therapy Certification (CHT) in 1998 and has been with the Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin orthopedic rehabilitation team since 1997. Her professional interests include: hand trauma, flexor tendon rehabilitation, custom splinting, and rehabilitation/splinting for arthritis. Outside interests include photography, participating in sports and activities with her husband and 2 children, and spending time with family and her 2 golden retrievers.

J. Michelle Mueller, PT, CHT, CLT

Bio

Michelle Mueller is a 1993 graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy. She obtained her Lymphedema Certification to treat both Lymphedema and post-operative edema in 2001 and her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification in 2015. Areas of professional interest and specialization include thumb, wrist, and shoulder rehabilitation, post-operative swelling (edema), Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, and ergonomics. She thrives on developing a personal relationship with her patients and helping them reach their fullest potential. Areas of personal interest include hiking, biking, working out, interior decorating, cooking, water skiing, gardening, and especially her family and friends.

Josie Arneson, PTA

Bio

Josie Arneson is a 2016 graduate of Northeast Wisconsin Technical College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science. She is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. Josie has worked most of her career in the Fox Valley area and has extensive outpatient experience treating a variety of diagnoses. Her special areas of interest include upper extremity orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy techniques, chronic pain, and cervical pain. Josie enjoys getting to know her patients individually and working together to help achieve the best possible outcomes. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working in her craft room and spending time outdoors.

Karen Jensen, PT, CHT

Bio

Karen Jensen is a 1988 graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. She received her Hand Therapy Certification in 1996. Areas of professional interest include hand trauma and custom splinting. She also specializes in upper extremity disorders that include the shoulder. Kathleen Lim, OTR, CHT

Bio

Kathleen (Katie) Lim is a 1985 graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. She also received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh in 2004. She received her Hand Therapy Certification in 1993. Areas of special interest include upper extremity orthopedic injuries of the wrist and digits, traumatic hand injuries, flexor and extensor tendon rehabilitation, and custom splinting.

Her personal interests include enjoying time with family and friends, as well as running, hiking, kayaking, and reading.

Leah Glodowski, OTR, CLT, CSRS

Bio

Leah Glodowski is a registered Occupational Therapist, having graduated with a Masters in Occupational Therapy in 2019, from Carroll University in Waukesha, WI.  Leah is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) and a Certified Stroke Rehabilitation Specialist (CSRS); and is pursuing to become a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) and a Certified Neuro-Developmental Therapist (C/NDT). She thrives on learning new hands-on treatment techniques, staying current on evidence-based interventions, and attending continuing education courses to optimize patient outcomes.  Areas of professional interest include conservative and post-surgical treatment of orthopedic upper extremity conditions, especially for those with neurologic dysfunction. In her free time, Leah enjoys being active with family and friends, kayaking, fishing, playing volleyball, checking out new restaurants, and traveling to different lighthouses throughout the country.

Leslie Koenig, OTR, CHT, COMT

Bio

Leslie is a graduate from Carroll University with a Master’s of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. Leslie earned her Certification in Orthopedic and Manual Therapy (COMT) techniques in 2021 and obtained her Certified Hand Therapy Certification in 2023. She has a professional interest in treating upper extremity related diagnoses including post-surgical and conservative injuries, manual therapy techniques, and custom orthotic splinting.

Morgan Meulemans, PT, DPT

Bio

Morgan is a 2023 graduate from Rosalind Franklin University with her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree, and a 2020 graduate from UW-Lacrosse with her Bachelor degree in Exercise and Sports Science. Morgan bases her clinical practice on developing good rapport with her patients to provide individualized care tailored towards each person’s unique goals and interests. She enjoys treating the whole patient and finding the best way to get her patients back to their daily life, sports, and other recreational activities. Her professional interest includes treating children and young adults with upper extremity injuries returning to sport. In her free time, you can usually find her with a good cup of coffee in hand, enjoying time outside with her family, friends, and dog.

Nicole Salm, OTR, CHT, COMT

Bio

Nicole Salm is a 1997 graduate from Mount Mary College with a double major in Occupational Therapy and Behavioral Science. Nicole has been working at the Hand and Shoulder Center of Wisconsin for 18 years and obtained her Certified Hand Therapist certification in 2003. Professional interests include restoring hand function after traumatic nerve and tendon injuries, fabrication of customized splints, and conservative treatment of shoulder conditions. She also has professional training with soft tissue and myofascial techniques. Nicole enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Rachael Grzywa, OTR

Bio

Rachael John is a 2014 graduate of Mount Mary University with a Masters in Occupational Therapy and a 2012 graduate of UW-La Crosse with a Bachelors in Biology. She is originally from the central part of Wisconsin, working most of her career in the Green Bay area & most recently in Eastern Washington State. She has extensive outpatient hand therapy experience. Rachael is currently pursuing specialty certifications to become a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).  Her areas of special interest include the elbow, wrist and hand, as well as orthotic management.  In her free time, Rachael enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends.  She loves spending her summer weekends up north, fall Sundays at Lambeau Field, and traveling throughout the country.

Bio

Shelly Somers is a 2013 graduate from Franklin Pierce University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a 2009 graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training. She became a Certified Hand Therapist in 2021 and obtained her Certification in Manual Trigger Point Therapy in 2015. Shelly is working towards becoming a Certified Orthopedic and Manual Therapist. Areas of professional interest include upper extremity disorders, traumatic injuries, pre and post prosthetic training, and rehabilitation of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand, with a special interest in manual therapy techniques. She believes that communication and teamwork are the keys to success. In her spare time, Shelly enjoys spending her time with her husband and children.

Bio

*Theresa Parry recently has taken on the role of Practice Administrator for Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin and Woodland Surgery Center. Her treating time has decreased as she is increasing with responsibilities. We are excited to see Theresa excel in her new position. 

Theresa Parry is a 2012 graduate from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Theresa holds a Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) from the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine (IAOM) and is a Certified Hand Therapist. Bio

Vivienne (Viv) Neerdaels is a therapy manager at Hand to Shoulder Center of Wisconsin. She is a 1990 graduate from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, Scotland with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. In 1999 Viv completed her Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) certification followed by a Lymphedema Certification to treat both Lymphedema and postoperative edema in 2004. Bio

Andrew is a 2019 graduate from Carroll University – Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy program. Andrew recently passed and is now a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT). He is currently pursing becoming a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).  His areas of interest include upper extremity orthopedic rehabilitation, manual therapy techniques, and splint making.  He values the relationships he builds with his clients and prioritizes communication.  While not at work, Andrew enjoys fishing, cross country skiing, and spending time with family and friends.

Maureen McGrath, OTR, CHT (ROC)

Bio

Maureen McGrath is a 1982 graduate from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. She has been a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) since 1996. She enjoys the art of splint making, joint and soft tissue mobilization, edema (swelling) control, and is comfortable with all thermal and electrical modalities. She enjoys an active lifestyle including power yoga, golf, cycling, and skiing.
